The Gopalpur Talash Social Welfare Society, established in 2010, is a community-based organization dedicated to empowering underprivileged women, vulnerable children, and helpless elderly individuals. It promotes awareness of rights, health, food safety, and provides educational support to orphaned children.
”GTS Welfare Society” has been registered in the name of ‘Gopalpur Talash Social Welfare Society’, under WEST BENGAL SOCIETY ACT XXVI OF 1961 having the registered in NGO darpan reg no- WB/2022/0312642 & CSR Certification No. CSR00086703.
Furthermore, the organization offers life skills development training, vocational training in various trades, communication skills enhancement, and facilitates group formation. It also manages programs catering to the needs of physically challenged children and elderly individuals in need. Operating across villages in Baruipur, Bishnupur (South 24 Parganas), and Chatna (Bankura district), the society fosters women-led initiatives in health, nutrition, drinking water, sanitation, and livelihood development.
Key programs include life skills and vocational training, communication development, group formation, and support services for the physically challenged and the elderly.
